Interested in learning a holistic system of cuisine? Well, here is a rare opportunity for a hands on experience in preparing and eating a full course Indian Meal!
Bina Makkencherry and Chandrika Sharma are seasoned cooks of Indian vegetarian cuisine. They will lend their expertise gathered from years of experience to this workshop. You will be guided by them for the preparation of a full course Indian Vegetarian Meal. The best part is that the entire team will enjoy the delicious meal cooked by all :). And its not only food for your body but your soul too. All proceeds from this workshop will be used to support Amma’s humanitarian efforts in Haiti.

Fees: Early bird special is $60 per person if you register by April 10th. From April 11th onwards it is $75 per person. Checks need to be made payable to M.A. Center.

- Socks if you need since shoes are not worn inside Indian homes

- Recipes will be provided for the dishes that you will cook
- Learn to cook (Hands On):
- Pulao (veg. rice delicacy)
- Korma (veg. medley in sauce)
- Chole (chick-pea in sauce)
- Puris (fried dough)
- Raitha (yogurt based condiment)
- Kheer (sweet pudding)
- Mango Lassi (mango in yogurt drink)
- Ghee (clarified butter)

Thank you Chandrika and Bina for this wonderful workshop. Yum! I went to the Indian Basket after and made Korma, rice and mango Lassi the next day with confidence. I look forward to the next workshop.
