Bharata Yatra 2009

Amma
When I arrived in the Ashram 3 days earlier I didn’t know that I would go on tour with Amma. And when I learned about it, I decided to go even if I was not very confident for I don’t know much about AMMA, I don’t even know what “Aum Namah Shivaya” means, I just say it because I feel what it means.
So here I am in Kodungaloor alone, without any family, friends and any cell phone since it fell off the train during my way to the Ashram. I am surrounded by people I don’t know. That day was my birthday. I decided to go for a walk in the little park in front of the school - And what do I see? Two people drawing a birthday cake. What a surprise! I asked them if I can blow the candles because it’s my birthday today, they agreed and I made a wish, blew the candles and they also gave me an AMMA sticker that says “Be innocent like a child”. I really felt welcome, I had the feeling that the universe was responding to me.
Then I remembered that incredible dream I had in the train to Kayamkulam, I was travelling with many people in a strange vehicle surrounded by a yellow light. And suddenly I was attacked by rat, I was calling for help and all the people around me were panicking, they were screaming “Go to the Queen, She alone can help, go to the queen.” With difficulty I walked to the queen who was all blue. She was very calm and she comforted me. She talked to me for a long time in a language I didn’t understand. The rats vanished and I felt relieved.
AMMA I really think you were the queen, and my friends were all of you people in that dream. The rats may represent the attachments to samsara so I maybe ready to see them and detach, that is why I’m coming to see the queen.
AMMA says that birthdays are also death days and it reminds us that every year we get closer to the death, death can come at anytime. She tells us the story of little boy who studies for surprise test and his grandfather meditating, getting ready for his surprise test which is death. Birthdays are good opportunity to evaluate our progress towards the goal.
I thanked AMMA for the birthday cake and for calling and AMMA says that we don’t need cell phones for that everybody has a direct connection with the divine …. And its free of charge ….
