Amma Shop Security
Help watching over the Amma Shop in the Hall. Needed are sevites who can be alert and keep a watchful eye on Amma Shop transactions and items.
During Program Clean-Up
This seva involves wiping the snack area tables and sweeping the floor of the snack area to keep things neat and tidy. In the evening, after the hotel staff has left, we have an added task of being sure that the bathrooms have a supply of paper products and emptying the trash when it gets too full. Shifts are 2 or 1 1/2 hours, depending on what people are able to do.
Greeters
Greeters who enjoy warmly welcoming people to Amma's Boston programs are needed. We need help all days of the public programs, especially during the evening Devi Bhava program on July 2nd. We would love to have you join our team.
Organic Trash Removal and Transport
Able-bodied sevites are needed to assist with removal and transport of organic garbage to a local farm for use as compost.
Tour Staff Laundry
Sevites with cars are needed each morning to take staff's laundry to a Laundromat. Approximately 3-hour shifts. Some lifting required. Volunteers report to the staff supply room. Equipment request: Dolly is needed for transporting laundry bags.
Tour Staff Meals and Staff Room
Sevites are needed to assist with serving breakfast to tour staff on July 1st and July 2nd.
Assistance is also needed for tidying and restocking the tour staff dining room.
Veggie Choppers
Needed to prepare the first public program meal. Sevites kindly report to the kitchen which is at the Raddison Hotel.
